The Mind Control Matrix: Origins, Operations, and Outcomes
"Without free thought, there is no free will. Without free will, there is no soul expression. Without that soul expression, there is no strength for the spirit to exhibit the ability to stand up for those things we believe in. No moral compass to stand for peace, truth, love, and joy to be able to live in harmony with life's purpose. Mind control disrupts all of that."
Cathy O'Brien, trauma-based mind control survivor
Trauma-Based Mind Control (TBMC) is repetitive trauma a person endures that causes him or her to be submissive to another in thoughts, will, and choices.
What will I learn about in The Mind Control Matrix: Origins, Operations, and Outcomes?
Acknowledge the reality of TBMC and other forms of willful control over others.
Define mind control programming methods used against children or adults.
Explore a collection of resources and links about the history of mind control efforts in the United States.
Notice the human response to intense stories so you don’t get caught up in a survivor’s story.
Recognize how sensationalism flows from storytelling and/or spiritual fixation.
Understand that internal parts are the desired outcome of TBMC, and appreciate the neurobiology of how parts are formed.
Get answers for some general questions about TBMC.
Time management: As you work through this course you will study and scrutinize instructional material, watch videos, do activities, and participate in a discussion forum. A phrase you will hear us use is “Walk the pace of the child.” You may find you need time to step back and process what you are learning. We know we have provided a great deal of information for you to absorb.
Technology Requirements: To proceed through this course, you will need reliable access to a computer, laptop, or other device with a keyboard so you can complete short writing assignments. You won’t want to miss out on our data-heavy graphics, videos, and other learning tools due to insufficient technology, so be prepared!
Maximize Learning: This course does not use exams, based on the principle that we learn best when we have collaborative experiences. Participate in the forum discussion topics introduced at the end of each lesson. While it’s possible to just type an answer and move on to the next lesson, we hope you’ll keep coming back to previous topics and interacting with your classmates. The examples and insights you glean from each other will really bring the material to life!
Course Expectations: The course will be available for student access around the clock, and students will have access for one year. You are expected to participate in the forum discussion topics introduced at the end of each lesson. While it’s possible to just type an answer and move on to the next lesson, we hope you’ll keep coming back to previous topics and interacting with your classmates. The examples and insights you glean from each other will really bring the material to life!
Student Integrity is a crucial part of this course. This would include things like avoiding plagiarism and other forms of dishonesty, but it also involves some basic rules of etiquette that can be easy to forget when we’re interacting with people we don’t know personally. We hope you’ll remember the following: (BM: I would reformat these to avoid Roman numerals. You could use regular numbers for the main points and capital letters for the subpoints.)
Keep the other person in mind.
The people you are interacting with have feelings and can be hurt.
Respect others’ privacy. Don’t share what you haven’t been given specific permission to share.
Be clear and concise when you communicate so that misunderstandings can be avoided as much as possible.
Practice kindness.
Be forgiving of others' mistakes. This is part of the process of practicing vulnerability.
Adhere to the same standards online that you want from others in real life.
Practice healthy communication skills by using clarifying questions as an alternative to blanket statements when in conversation with classmates or facilitator(s).
When you disagree, express yourself in a professional manner.
3. Know where you are in cyberspace.
Consider where others taking the course may be coming from on their own life journey. Be sensitive to each unique individual. Some have prior experience with the topics and others do not. Some are in an intense season of personal pain, while others seek to be helpers and support people.
Understand that this course is not intended to provide professional counseling or therapy in any capacity.
Focus communication around the concepts in the lessons.
Verify facts before reposting.
Credit your sources.
4. Respect other people’s time and bandwidth
Don't load large files that will complicate the viewing process for peers.
Proofread your discussion posts and contain your posts to a reasonable length.
Eliminate unnecessary information.
And the fine print… Please respect all copyrights and do not share course content without permission.
