This teaching session explores how internal communication develops in survivors with DID, especially when language was disrupted by trauma. We will introduce the concepts of “Paper Balls” as symbolic internal messaging and “The Language of the Heart” as pre-verbal, relational communication that exists before words are possible. Participants will gain insight into how systems communicate.
